First Look: London's Liberty department store goes online

News just in: London's iconic Liberty department store has launched a transactional website - so you can now shop from the store anywhere in the world.

Housed in a grand, imposing Tudor building on Loandon's Regent Street Liberty has a reputation for having one of the most diverse and cutting edge fashion collections in the country as well as being home to the Liberty of London label and the famous Liberty print fabric which has been sold at the store since it opened in 1875.

And now you don't have to come all the way to central London to shop at the store. This week Liberty launched an e-commerce site selling homewear, gifts, Liberty print fabrics and everything in the store's newly refurbished beauty hall, ahead of September when they will expand to sell designer fashion and accessories online too.

As well as having access to everything in store - including Liberty's special one-off vintage pieces, from September the store's merchandisers and buyers will be blogging about key buys and what goes on behind the scenes, and you'll be able to compile wish lists online of everything you want to buy (or be bought!) - just in time for Christmas.

We've already got the website saved in our favourites, click here now to take a look.
